Rambert swaggered into February with their raucous new adaptation of the television hit Peaky Blinders; Birmingham Royal Ballet then glide into March with their acclaimed Swan Lake; in April there are no fools, only the divine gothic romance of Matthew Bourne's Sleeping Beauty; then in May Scottish Ballet bring back their sell-out production of A Streetcar Named Desire, swiftly followed by Johannes Radebe strutting back on to the stage to get us all in the summer mood with Freedom Unleashed; finally in June Ballet Black will wow you with Pioneers a double-bill of work including Then or Now and Nina: By Whatever Means, inspired by the artistry and activism of Nina Simone...
