Our new cafe

Enjoy a selection of pastries, cakes, salads, sandwiches and soup throughout the day, alongside locally roasted coffee, a wide range of teas and soft drinks. Then when it’s show time, catch-up with friends or peruse the show programme in our of our stunning bar spaces.

Cafe opening hours

Monday to Saturday: 10am to 4pm (or until curtain up on performance days)
Sunday: Closed
Food service ends at 6pm on performance days.

Newly refurbished bars

There are three beautifully renovated bars located throughout the King’s Theatre — the Stalls Bar, the Dress Circle Bar and the Upper Circle Bar, each offering a stylish space to enjoy with friends and family.

Each bar is accessible by stair or lift, and opens around an hour before a performance and during the interval. These spaces are also available for hire for private functions, conferences and events.

Help us reduce single-use plastic

With over 90% of plastic currently not being recycled, it is more important than ever to reduce the use of single-use plastic. To help do our bit, we have introduced reusable plastic cups at all of our . If you wish to take your drink into the auditorium, remember to ask for a reusable cup.

At the end of the performance, you can deposit your cup in one of our collection buckets and it will be washed and re-used. Your cooperation helps us continue to make our venues greener and we thank you.
