John Cale

Avant-garde and provocative, John Cale inspires and amazes with his innovative and radical album, Mercy.

Founding member of The Velvet Underground, Welsh musician John Cale is a force to be reckoned with. With a body of work that spans over six decades, Cale remains at the forefront of experimental music creation. Cale is constantly reinventing his sound and has created a prolific and varied catalogue of work.

Released in 2023, Cale’s 17th solo album Mercy is a ‘brooding, softly raging record’ (The Guardian). Bold and daring, with immersive synths and hypnotic vocals, the album is an angry reflection on the world we live in. Described by Uncut as ‘the most out-there work Cale has made in some time,’ Mercy promises to entrance and transfix audiences.

His voice remains unmistakable
