We are thrilled to be raising the curtain on the first season back at the iconic King’s Theatre.

Here’s to the roar of the crowd, the thrill of the lights and an unforgettable new chapter

The King’s autumn 2026 season brims with stories that celebrate courage, spirit and Scotland itself — from the Olympic triumphs of Chariots of Fire to Wallace, a bold new musical honouring a legendary Scottish hero. You’ll also find laughter with the return of the King’s Panto and a brand-new production of Pinocchio, dance from Jasmin Vardimon’s talented company with Lullaby, and pure joy in favourites like West End smash hit Operation Mincemeat, Tony Roper’s beloved The Steamie, and an homage to the biggest boyband of the 70s in Rollers Forever.

The reimagined King’s will feature improved accessibility for all, redesigned hospitality spaces, a new level stage and upgraded technical facilities, all enhancing your experience whilst paving the way for larger, more ambitious productions to visit our theatre.

Details of the King’s summer 2026 reopening celebrations will be shared in the coming months – look out for further announcements!
