Artist bio
Amina Aaliya Beg is a multidisciplinary artist working across theatre, performance and DJing. She is the co-founder of ajeeb studios, an artistic collective platforming what society perceives as strange. Her work aims to challenge dominant narratives around Muslim women, bringing joy, unity and liberation into communities through comedy and drama. Amina has developed and presented work with Capital Theatres, BFI Film Hub North and Camden People’s Theatre. Recent works include West (Cow)lder at Play, Pie & Pint (2026), The Perfect Girl at The Studio Theatre (2025) and Hope New Mill at Leicester Curve Theatre (2024).
