Do Not Pass Go

Wed 21 - Thu 22 Oct 2026

Venue: Studio Theatre

Award-winning theatre company Jordan & Skinner bring their original and irreverent style of physical theatre and comedy to this epic story of women, games and money.

All performances are performed in BSL and English

We hear Lizzie Magie! Feminist, economist, disruptor, and games designer who wanted to show the world there was an alternative to capitalist greed. But her beautiful brainchild was stolen, repurposed, and made a man a millionaire. Discover the hidden truth behind one of the world’s most popular board games, as we search for justice for Lizzie and for all who find the game is rigged against them.

All performances include integrated BSL performed by a member of the cast.

A woman with blonde hair runs indoors, smiling, in colourful clothes and trainers, as if playing a lively game of Do Not Pass Go, with chairs in the background.

Three women indoors, two lifting the third, who raises one arm and looks upward—triumphant smiles all round, as if they’ve just landed on Do Not Pass Go in a game filled with laughter and camaraderie.

Three women sit around a table, gesturing energetically, as if engaged in an animated conversation or debate—each determined not to let the others Do Not Pass Go without making her point heard.

Two people sit at a table, laughing and talking, with mugs, a laptop, and notebooks in front of them—as if they’ve decided to pause real life and channel their inner “Do Not Pass Go,” taking time to simply enjoy each other’s company without rushing on.

Woman with glasses writes in notebook while others dance in a bright, spacious studio, determined to focus and not let herself “Do Not Pass Go” until her ideas are on paper.

Woman in a purple shirt strikes a dramatic pose with arms raised in a bright, empty room, as if declaring, “Do Not Pass Go”, capturing both confidence and playful defiance.
