Curated and produced by a talented team of emerging creatives, the Gateway Writing Festival is your chance to experience theatre at its most original and electric.
In a Big Country by Ben Ramsay
A young couple set out to celebrate their anniversary with their first ‘staycation’ in a rural stretch of Scotland, only to find themselves approached by an eccentric, unsettling visitor. As the night stretches on and their safety is pulled into question, they are drawn into a terrifying fight for survival that pushes them — and their relationship — to the absolute limit.
The Tide by Sophie Good
Something is happening to the house. There are cracks appearing on the walls, the garden decking has fallen away and the cliff edge seems to be getting closer and closer. No one is visiting this seaside town any more. There’s not much worth staying for but Helen and Grant can’t leave. Not until they find their son.
