Internationally acclaimed choreographer Jasmin Vardimon returns and expands the world of 'Lullaby' with a groundbreaking new production.

An experience both intimate and universal

Jasmin Vardimon has been a leading force in British dance theatre for over twenty years. She has built a reputation for challenging, exciting and visually stunning dance and continues to add to the body of critically acclaimed, artistically respected yet accessible work both for the company she formed in 1998 and for some of the leading arts institutions she works with across the world.

This new production resonates with the emotional depth of her 2003 breakthrough work Lullaby – that seminal piece, set in a hospital ward, established her as an Associate Artist at Sadler’s Wells and won her numerous awards.

Now, she revisits and expands that world with a bold new production. Against the backdrop of a cold, clinical hospital landscape, Vardimon explores the emotional highs and lows of human life with her trademark fusion of wit, raw honesty, and visceral theatricality.

As Susan Sontag reminds us: “Everyone who is born holds dual citizenship, in the kingdom of the well and in the kingdom of the sick…” 

This work confronts that truth, offering audiences an experience both intimate and universal.
