Are you 16–25 and want to make a real difference? We’re looking for new members for our Youth Advisory Board (YAB) at Capital Theatres.
What’s the Youth Advisory Board all about?
Our YAB is a group of young people who help us make Capital Theatres a more exciting, inclusive, welcoming, and relevant place for you.
As a member, you’ll get to:
- Shape how we connect with young people
- Suggest ideas for events, activities, and opportunities
- Share your views on issues that matter to you
- Help influence our plans for the future
The YAB has a real impact on the way we work and the decisions we make. For example:
- Improving our 25 and Under ticket offer, which has meant many more young people can now enjoy £10 tickets.
- Suggesting a makeover for the Studio Theatre bar and foyer, helping us make the space feel more welcoming and full of character.
- Sharing valuable feedback on the opportunities we give to early-career artists, such as workshops and scratch nights.
- Helping us refresh parts of our Creative Engagement programme, including the Student Ambassador programme.
- Inspiring us to be more playful and creative in the way we use social media.
