25 & Under: Musical Theatre Quiz
Aged 16 - 25 and love musical theatre?
Join us at 6pm on Thursday 26 October for a fabulous theatre quiz run by our Youth Advisory Board.
The quiz is free and there will be questions on a variety of musicals so whether you are a SIX! queen, A Sound of Music sister, or if Anything Goes floats your Showboat, there will be something for you.
And because you’re under 26, after the quiz, you can see the world premiere of Treason the Musical for only £10!
How to book
Each person taking part in the quiz should sign up individually and in advance. Just turn up on the night with your team name and proof of age!
You can also sign up to our 25 & Under ticket scheme in advance to access your £10 tickets on the day for Treason. Here's how:
- If you haven’t already, sign up for an account with us and fill in your details online
- Using the email you signed up for an account with, send us a photo of your ID to bookings@capitaltheatres.com or bring your ID to the box office and say you also want to sign up for the quiz
- You will receive an email confirming you can book £10 tickets online until your 26th birthday
- On the day of the performance, log into your account, choose your seat and your ticket will be discounted to £10

How to sign up (16-25 year olds)
To book online, we first need proof of age. Then you're all set to book £10 tickets on the day from your 16th birthday until your 26th!
- If you haven’t already, sign up for an account with us and fill in your details online
- Using the email you signed up for an account with, send us a photo of your ID to bookings@capitaltheatres.com or bring your ID to the box office
- You will receive an email confirming you can book £10 tickets online until your 26th birthday
- On the day of the performance, log into your account, choose your seat and your ticket will be discounted to £10
- Take your seat, relax and enjoy the show!
You can also book your first £10 ticket on the day of the performance at 0131 529 6000 or in person from 11am, until half an hour before curtain up. Bring your proof of age at the theatre’s box office to get your ticket and confirm your age.
How to sign up (11-15 year olds)
If you're aged between 11 and 15 you can book in person at box office. Bring your ID to the box office on the day of the performance to purchase your £10 ticket!

Proof of age (ID) includes:
- Young Scot Card
- Passport
- Student ID (if proof of age is included)
- Driver’s License

We are the Youth Advisory Board
We are Capital Theatres Youth Advisory Board (but you can call us the YAB). We will help Capital Theatres become a more relevant and exciting place for young people aged 16-25.
We influence different areas including how best to talk to young people, the kinds of activities on offer, and help shape Capital Theatres’ plans for the future. We making change happen, get an inside look at how the theatre industry works and open doors for other young people.
