We are thrilled to reveal the 2018/19 Annual Review, reporting on our first full year as Capital Theatres.

We have expanded the scope of the Review this year in order to describe more fully the extraordinary range of learning and participatory activity we invite our audiences to engage in. We hope you’ll enjoy some of the detail we’ve been able to include and finding out more about the amazing people that help make Capital Theatres matter.

For the first year ever we’ve topped over half a million visitors to our venues, and we’ve staged 648 performances of 115 shows.

Our Learning & Participation activity included 295 events including 70 accessible performances.

We sold 91,396 tickets for the King’s panto and that’s a fifth of the tickets we sell across all three of our venues all year round.

We’ve had 825,777 website visitors over the course of the year, and we launched our new mobile-friendly website in August 2018.

The launch of our new website, has increased  mobile users to 72.4% of our total users and our online tickets sales now account for over 57.9% of all ticket sales platforms.

We have also seen over 2,000 new customers using and enjoying the Capital Theatres Bars App, which allows audiences to pre-order and pre-pay for their drink and snack orders before arriving at the theatre.

We now have 55,510 social media followers across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

We hope you’ll enjoy reading about some of our current projects, the people who help make it happen and what we hope to achieve with your help in the year ahead. You can now view our full Annual Review
