E-tickets & drinks pre-orders

  • 48 hours ahead of your visit you will receive a reminder email or text with your tickets for the show via our new system VisitOne.

  • Text messages will come from FestTheatre and the link will start with the words myvisit.

  • Via the VisitOne link to your e-tickets, you'll also be able to pre-order interval drinks. With so many full houses and a short 15-minute interval we're expecting busy bars, so skip the queue and order ahead of time.

  • If you are the Lead Booker for your booking then please remember to bring Photo ID for Hamilton as checks may be in operation.

Reselling your Hamilton tickets via the Box Office

  • If you are unable to use your ticket, and the performance you have booked has sold out we can put your tickets back on sale via our box office.

  • If they are sold you will receive 90% of the original ticket value back as a refund (we retain 10% as an admin fee).

  • Please call us on 0131 529 6000 (11am to 3pm, Mon to Sat) or email bookings@capitaltheatres.com if you would like to resell your ticket.

  • The merchandise table is located on the F1 Bar Level, this will be open from 1 hour before each performance.

  • We expect this area to be very busy so a queuing system is likely to be in operation, please be considerate of your fellow audience members when waiting to be served.

  • Till-points like the rest of the venue are cashless, accepting only contactless/chip & pin purchases.

  • You can view the full selection of available merchandise on the Hamilton Shop ahead of your visit, the link also includes an online shop for home delivery direct from the Hamilton team.

  • Our cloakroom will be open 1 hour before each performance and can be found on the lower ground level. This is accessible by lift or stairs.

  • To make the best use of space for all customers we kindly ask that you refrain from storing large bags/cases during the performance.

  • The cloakroom is free but donations are welcome and go towards the maintenance of the Festival Theatre, King's Theatre, and The Studio.

  • Programmes are available to purchase in person at the venue.

  • The house programme is priced at £6, and the Tour Brochure at £10.

Theatre bars

  • Will open 1 hour before the show and during the interval unless otherwise stated in the venue, they will be closed after the show.

  • If you wish to take your drink into the auditorium, remember to ask for a reusable cup. We operate a reduce and reuse scheme at the theatre so please return your cup at the end of the performance.

  • We are not currently accepting cash at any of our sales points, we therefore encourage you to use contactless transactions as much as possible.

  • Our cafe is located on the ground floor and open from 10 am, Mon to Sat. It serves refreshments and light bites until 6 pm, after that time it reverts to bar service only.
