Giving voice to young people, students, dementia friendly work, heritage and accessibility

Youth Advisory Board

Our Youth Advisory Board (YAB) helps us become a more relevant and exciting place for young people aged 16-25. They influence a wide range of areas, including marketing campaigns, pricing strategies and the student ambassador scheme, and help to shape Capital Theatres’ plans for the future.

King’s Access Panel

Ongoing and recruitment live.

The King’s Access Panel is one of four consultation panels as part of the King’s Theatre Heritage Project. They are working to ensure the new King’s Theatre both front and back of house are accessible. Some decisions influenced by this panel include design decisions on accessible lifts, washrooms, dressing rooms, and the new cross walk and level access into the King’s main entrance.

King’s Heritage Youth Panels (Senior / Junior)

The King’s Youth Panel is recruited from neighbourhood schools with young people ages 7-16 years. This panel informs on our youth programme development, schools workshop offer, and online resources.
