Join our playwrights for an informal sharing session, where you’ll have the chance to hear extracts from their work, learn more about the stories behind the characters, and see how voices from the past are being reimagined for today.
Citadel Arts Group is working closely with The People’s Archive to help us bring to life a series of character stories inspired by the real people who once worked at the King’s Theatre. From stagehands and usherettes to managers, musicians and makers, these creative portraits shine a light on the individuals who helped shape the theatre’s rich history.
It’s a relaxed and engaging way to explore the hidden histories of the King’s and a lovely opportunity to support new writing rooted in our community’s heritage.
