Join disabled choreographer and theatre-maker Marc Brew and creative producer Susan Hay as they talk about how they build inclusive practice into every stage of making work.
Drawing on years of experience creating and producing performance with disabled and non-disabled artists from rehearsal room to tour, they’ll share practical insights into planning, problem-solving and supporting collaborators so that access is part of the process, not an afterthought.
This session is for theatre makers at any stage of their career from new graduates to seasoned practitioners who want to better understand how to work in ways that centre access, care and genuine collaboration. Expect honest conversation, examples from real practice and useful take-aways you can apply to your own work.
This event is supported by EPAD and is part of Capital Theatres artist support programme.
