Book your seats early for our 2018/19 pantomime as Allan, Andy and Grant lead the cast in another unmissable King’s Theatre Panto! If you’re an existing panto group booker - look out for the booking form on your doormat or in your inbox in early January 2017.


Following customer feedback and sales patterns from recent years, we have changed the Panto booking system. 

This year we are changing how the panto booking works. We're introducing an advanced booking period for Friends from 28 Dec. A generous but limited number of tickets will be available to Friends before Group bookings open. Friends will be able to book 7 or fewer tickets from 28 December until 3 January (inclusive).

Once this period is over the panto booking forms will be sent to previous group bookers (8+ tickets) who have paid on time. These will be posted on 3rd Jan and emailed on 4th Jan. By default, booking forms will be emailed out if you have an email address. Please let us know if you would prefer it via post.

Once the forms have been processed, in the order we have received them, bookings will open to Friends and Groups from 5 Feb – 11 Feb.

On the 12 Feb panto will be open to the public to book.

28 Dec - 3 Jan: Friends can buy limited amount of tickets

3 Jan: Postal booking form sent

4 Jan: Email booking forms sent

5 Feb – 11 Feb: Friends and groups can book on the phone or in person

12 Feb – Panto goes on general sale

PERSONAL SERVICE We are a small team with a dedicated phone line and email address. We make it our aim to get to know each Group’s specific needs.

EXTRA DISCOUNTS We offer Group discounts on most shows including many Friday and Saturday evenings. Groups never pay any booking fees when booking with us on 0131 529 6005.
RESERVE TICKETS AND CONFIRM YOUR NUMBERS LATER With nothing to pay up front, we can reserve tickets for you until 10 weeks before the show (may vary for some shows). We appreciate it isn’t always possible to know exactly how many tickets you will need, especially for a show so far in advance - you can make any amendments to your numbers before you pay for the tickets.
SEATING PLANS We can provide you with a seating plan so you can see exactly where your Group will be sitting in the auditorium. We generally create these for larger Groups but if you feel your Group would benefit from one, we will happily send one to you, just let us know when you are confirming your numbers.
ICE-CREAMS To avoid queueing during the interval, Groups can pre-order their ice-creams. Payment can be made by cash or credit/debit card prior to the show, on the day of the performance.
FREE ROOM HIRE To make your night extra special, why not reserve an area at the theatre free of charge where your group can meet for drinks either pre-show or during the interval.
PUBLICITY MATERIAL TO HAND OUT TO YOUR GROUP Let your Group members know what to expect. We can send you promotional materials for shows including flyers and posters.
When making a Group booking with us, sign up for our Groups quarterly e-newsletter and recieve information about new shows, Groups offers, and invitations to exclusive events to thank you for your continued support.
PAYMENT Payment for Group bookings can be made by phone, at the counter or by post. We accept most major Credit and Debit Cards, Theatre Tokens (not redeemable over the phone) and Cheque payments (made payable to the Festival City Theatres Trust). As standard policy, we require 10 working days for all cheque payments to clear before issuing tickets. If posting a cheque please write your booking reference number on the back. We do not generally accept cash for payment of group bookings. If this is the only form of payment you have as an option, please call our Group Sales department on 0131 529 6005.
